iPhone apps are my favorite source of distraction. My latest favorite is iBird, an app that is like a mini field guide to birds. It plays real examples of the bird songs. This is the perfect distraction for my toddler. This is the free version, which has 15 common North American Birds like the Robin, Blue Jay and Crow. The complete version is something like $30 which I am trying to decide if I want to spend. The kid just loves this app and I’m glad just to keep him busy a few minutes so I can do something else!
